Run the Solver

Quick Start  ·  Step 7 of 9

Objective

Run the scheduling algorithm to automatically generate a timetable.

Prerequisites

  • Data has been imported and reviewed
  • Basic constraints have been configured

Estimated time

3 minutes

Steps

1. Navigate to Solver

Click Solver in the sidebar.

2. Review Solver Settings

The following settings are pre-configured with sensible defaults:

SettingDefaultDescription

3. Generate Schedule

Click Generate Schedule.

The solver will process your data and display progress. This typically takes a few seconds depending on your dataset size.

4. Wait for Completion

Once complete, the solver will display a summary:

  • Total classes scheduled
  • Conflicts found (if any)
  • Resource utilization statistics

Expected Result

The solver completes successfully and displays a generated timetable.
